i'm sad to say, despite my attempts, i spent the last 2 days sulking like a spoilt brat.
this evening, my parents gave me the option to choose. and i am really sure that this time, if i said i wanted to go to liverpool, they'd be ready to let me go.
it was really tempting and i really was abt to.
den before i made the decision, i spoke to tin. and he reminded me that it's impt to honour/obey my parents. i know they didnt force this choice on me. but yeah i decided to choose it.
i prayed abt making the right decision, and i hope this is really it.
thank God for justin who's always there (other than when he goes to play soccer..ahem!! PIG.) and my church frens (lyd, keith, kevin, darrell) who really tried to cheer me up at church today and reminded me that my reasons for gg to liverpool are really..ermm..

anyway, today at youth worship, elder john shared psalm 86. i'll just share v1 to v7 here:
1 Bend down, O LORD, and hear my prayer; answer me, for I need your help.
2 Protect me, for I am devoted to you. Save me, for I serve you and trust you. You are my God.
3 Be merciful to me, O Lord, for I am calling on you constantly.
4 Give me happiness, O Lord, for I give myself to you.
5 O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.
6 Listen closely to my prayer, O LORD; hear my urgent cry.
7 I will call to you whenever I'm in trouble, and you will answer me.

i found it really encouraging, esp at this very moment of my life where i'm at a crossroad. YES God is always near.
Baa Baa black sheep have you any fear?
No sir, no sir, GOD IS NEAR :)

at youth worship, we sang 'Find Us Faithful' and for some reason, the song really touched my heart.

We’re pilgrims on the journey of the narrow way
And all who come behind us light the way
Cheering on the faithful, encouraging the weary,
Their lives a stirring testament to God’s sustaining grace

Surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses.
Let us run the race not only for the prize
But as those who’ve gone before us
Let us leave to those behind us
The heritage of faithfulness
Passed on through Godly lives

Oh, may all who come behind us find us faithful,
May the fire of our devotion light the way,
May the footprints that we leave,
Lead them to believe
And the lives we live inspire them to obey
Oh, may all who come behind us
Find us faithful

After all our hopes and dreams have come and gone,
And our children sift through all we’ve left behind
May the clues that they discover
And the memories uncover
Become the light that leads them
To the road we all must find

Oh, may all who come behind us find us faithful,
May the fire of our devotion light the way,
May the footprints that we leave,
Lead them to believe
And the lives we live inspire them to obey
Oh, may all who come behind us
Find us faithful
