today i really thank God for putting specific pple in my life to continually literally pull me back to God. everytime i feel like i'm slipping away, God places someone there to help direct me back to the right path. really thank God so much for lyd! my dear friend from childhood till now, my accountability partner and my discipler.

i've been having this bugging feeling to just like go on strike and stray away but i thank God for the sharing that we had. and for the reminder and gentle chiding to not conform to the world. to stay close to God and to trust in him completely. i really really thank God for pulling me back before my heart hardens!!

today we almost completed the first discipleship book and i thank God for these 5 assurances!
Assurance of Salvation, answered prayer, victory, forgiveness and guidance!

1. Assurance of Salvation
"And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and the life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life." -1 John 5:11-12

2. Assurance of Answered Prayer
"Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive and your joy will be complete." -John 16:24

3. Assurance of Victory
"No temptation has seized you expect what is common to man. And God is faithful, he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." -1 Corinthians 10:13

4. Assurance of Forgiveness
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us out sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." -1 John 1:9

5. Assurance of Guidance
"Trust in the Lord with all your hear and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." -Proverbs 3:5-6

I really like the last assurance. and i really love that verse and i'm gonna make it my verse for the year. sometimes i just love doing things my way; my style; on my own strength and somehow i just dont seem to get some stuff. and that's cos i'm not relying on God for strength and trusting in him. so yeah tt's gonna be my verse! yes debo yes. :)

on another note, i like had duck for dinner and now i smell. man i'm never EVER gonna eat duck again cos it's so smelly. hurr. and last night me and my bro did some hanging out..well kinda..with some math questions and physcis stuff HAHA i love my bro man. he's just so fun and interesting to be around. no wonder he's a total lady killer man. yes so anyway we hung out till abt 4am and we were supposed to go gymming at 5am but i pangsehed him in the end :/ BLEHHS cos by 4.30am i was so tired i decided to have a half an hour nap but by 5 i totally couldnt get up! i could hear my bro but i was like paralyzed!! kind of.. haha..it's part of the sleep cycle by the way. if i rmb correctly. hurr.
anyway my bro's so cool la. haha i love the way he lists his list of things to do. freaking hilarious. haha it's kinda vulgar so i shant depict it here haha but ahh..haha :):)
